My screen is an old one connected via DVI with a HDMI converter so no 4K or anything fancy. It also had three external SSD-drives connected and it's sitting on top of a Satechi hub. Basically, it's behind the hinge, which is why it's continually blowing hot air at the screen.

I downloaded TG Pro and it shows highest temperature around 49 degrees celsius (120 F) and highest CPU temperature around 42 degrees celsius (108 F). If you wish, you can use a third-party App to increase the minimum fan speed. Adding to this is that I wasn't using it and it had been idling for maybe 2 hours at the time. The fans speed is based on measured temperatures inside your Mac. Not scolding but significantly hotter than for instance my work PC laptop. Today when I was moving around some cables I noticed that the mini was hot to the touch. I've been running my M1 Mac mini 16GB 1TB for about three weeks and it's been working great.
